Anaheim, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Patrick Kane scored two goals and set up another in helping the visiting Chicago Blackhawks beat the Anaheim Ducks 4-1 on Friday night. Patrick Sharp had four assists, and Jonathan Toews and Duncan Keith also scored for the Blackhawks. Rickard Rakells power-play goal midway through the third period spoiled the shutout bid for Corey Crawford, who made 21 saves as Chicago notched its third straight victory at Honda Center. Frederik Andersen stopped 29 shots for the Ducks, who have dropped two in a row following a six-game winning streak. You can tell how far you have to go to be the best, said Anaheim coach Bruce Boudreau. You can be in first place, but they turned it up and we werent able to handle it. The Blackhawks, who were up 3-0 entering the third, blew three one-goal leads in Wednesdays 4-3 loss at Los Angeles, and perhaps thoughts of that game entered their minds when Rakell scored off a feed from Corey Perry with 9:54 remaining. But Kane put Chicago back up by three with 6:35 left. Somehow Kane was left alone in front of Andersen and he tipped in Sharps pass from the right-wing boards. I thought that fourth goal was a big goal for us, said Chicago coach Joel Quenneville. Toews gave the Blackhawks a 1-0 lead 5:30 into the game. He fumbled a pass that Kane sent through the legs of Anaheim defenseman Hampus Lindholm but was still able to beat Andersen with a shot from the right circle. The Ducks nearly tied it in the second period following an odd carom. Crawford, however, was able to dive out front and poke the puck away before Ryan Kesler could put it into an empty net. Kesler wound up colliding into Crawford, but neither player was injured. Keith scored on a slap shot from above the left circle at 9:16 of the second. The goal was allowed to stand even though Toews fell over Andersen. Kane collected a drop pass from Sharp just inside the offensive zone and beat Andersen on a wrister from the slot for Chicagos third goal with 4:37 remaining in the second.
